Tree Surgeon in Richmond

We carry out full tree surgery and removal, crown reduction, crown lifting, crown thinning, and deadwooding to BS 3998, along with stump grinding and tree and hedge planting for gardens across the town.

Richmond falls under North Yorkshire Council for Tree Preservation Orders and conservation area protections, which cover a significant part of the historic town centre around the castle and market place. If you're unsure whether a tree is protected, check with the council, or ask us to assess it as part of a tree health survey before any work goes ahead.

We also cover hedge cutting and trimming, bush pruning, lawn cutting, and garden clearance across Richmond, along with jet washing for driveways, patios, and paths, useful for the town's older stone properties and cobbled areas.

Fallen trees and storm damage get priority attention, with same-day and out-of-hours emergency callouts available across Richmond and the surrounding Swaledale area.

North Yorkshire Council is the relevant planning authority for Richmond, distinct from Darlington's own council. For development work near trees, we also prepare BS5837 arboricultural reports to support planning applications in the area.

We're a team-based operation, not one person with a chainsaw, giving us the right equipment and enough people to handle any size of job properly. Every quote is given in writing before we start, with no hidden extras, and we leave the site clean and tidy once we're done.
